Forte & Tablada Transitions Ownership, Restructures Leadership

BATON ROUGE, LA, Aug. 21, 2020 – Forte & Tablada announced the 0rganization is transitioning ownership as Ann Forte Trappey, Forte & Tablada President, names her successor and begins a new role.

The organization chose Joey Coco to lead the firm as Chief Executive Officer. He will assume the new role on Aug. 21, 2020, as Ann Forte Trappey officially completes the sale to Coco, former F&T Vice President and longtime Forte & Tablada Vice President, Chad Bacas. The leading south Louisiana engineering organization started by Trappey’s father, Vincent Forte over 60 years ago, will retain the well-known Forte & Tablada name.

The sale also includes several properties located in Baton Rouge on Interline and North Boulevard as well as Denham Springs. “We have been working hard to ensure that the Forte & Tablada team will sustain the next generation of ownership,” said Trappey. “I am confident in Joey and Chad’s abilities and am certain they are prepared to lead the organization into the future.”

In her new role as Vice President of Outreach, Ann Forte Trappey leads a team focused on clients, strategic pursuits, proposals, and marketing events. She will retain her position on the Forte & Tablada board of directors and will remain involved in the business’s daily operations, but in a different capacity, allowing for more family quality time.
