For the past few years, Forte and Tablada’s Jonathan Coco, department leader of Advanced Measurements and Modelling, has given guest lectures for Dr. Gabriel Trahan’s Construction Management Survey course. Each semester Jonathan speaks to 3-4 classes and gives students hands-on experience with the laser scanner and its basic operations. He also introduces them to techniques for registration and processing to produce geometry that can be used for survey.
