Ardendale Career and Technical Education Center

Forte and Tablada, Inc. was responsible for the structural and civil/site design for a new technical education center for high school students in the East Baton Rouge School System. The structural design included foundation and framing systems for the school, which included classrooms, teaching labs, mechanical labs, and multi-use assembly spaces. A mechanical building was also included, and all structural framing elements in the school are exposed. The civil/site design included 185 parking spaces, drives, drainage, utilities, and the addition of a turning lane from Ardendale Drive to N. Lobdell Boulevard.
