Forte and Tablada, Inc. provided project management and engineering design services, both civil and electrical, for a new training and office building at the Baton Rouge Diesel Driving Academy location.
The civil portion included furnishing and installing PVC for gravity flow sanitary sewers, service lines, riser pipes, paving driveways, roadways, parking lots and sidewalks. Electrical work included the design and installation of interior and exterior lighting, power branch circuits and panelboards, distribution panelboards, a computer network data system, security system and fire alarm system. In addition, a 125KW natural gas fueled emergency generator will be installed to allow full operation of the facility in the event of electrical utility failure.
Mechanical work was provided by Henry Eyre & Associates and included the design of the DX type air conditioning and electric heating system, plumbing system and energy management system.
Architectural Design Services were provided by Domain Design and Deumite Construction, LLC was chosen to handle the construction of the project.
