Forte and Tablada, Inc. was retained for the structural design for a new 67,000-square foot Freshman Academy including a two-story classroom building, a multi-use cafeteria and kitchen, mechanical building, and an Agriculture building. A 5,000-square foot Athletic Building with locker rooms, coaches' offices, and maintenance storage was also designed. The structural systems included shallow foundations, steel framing and reinforced concrete masonry units.
