Mobile LiDAR surveys collect millions of data points surrounding the area driven while the vehicle is in motion. The primary advantage of mobile LiDAR surveys is it allows for the collection of topographic survey information for transportation projects safely and rapidly without lane closures or traffic control measures. The mobile LiDAR system can also be mounted on other vehicles, such as golf carts or UTVs, for off-road data collection.
