The Baton Rouge Area Chamber (BRAC) announced the members of the Baton Rouge Leadership Class of 2013. The leadership program selected 36 individuals representing several areas of the Capital Region’s business, civic and non-profit communities. Our very own Chad Bacas, P.E. is among the 36 selected for the 2013 class.
Applicants are chosen on their demonstrated leadership ability through career or community achievements, concern for the future of the Baton Rouge area and commitment to the program. Graduates leave the program with first-hand knowledge of the issues facing our region and the potential for a positive community experience through volunteerism.
The program commences nine months of training from September – April, as the class devotes an entire day each month to lectures, discussions, field trips and practical exercises pertinent to community issues. Since being launched in 1985, the program has graduated more than 700 individuals, Chad will graduate June 2013.
