Also, in this role, she will serve as Co-chair of the Transportation Coalition recently formed by GBRIA (Greater Baton Rouge Industry Alliance), BRAC and CPEX (Center for Planning Excellence). One of BRAC’s major initiatives for the year will be to address the ever growing transportation problems in our region. Mrs. Trappey will be at the forefront of assisting to bring this issue to the regional business and industry leaders in hopes that a platform can be set for the legislators and particularly the gubernatorial candidates.
“With all the incredible things happening in our region, the number 1 deterrent to economic growth will be our failing infrastructure. We must as a region and a state address these issues head on and assist in convincing our legislators that we must do better.” – Ann Forte Trappey, P.E., CEO
