Every year, the Baton Rouge Business Report releases a special issue called the Book of Lists. According to a statement byBusiness Report CEO/Publisher Rolfe H. McCollister Jr., the Book of Lists “provides details on the largest firms and organizations in more than 35 categories” in the Capital Region, as well as “a listing of the most influential people in our region.”
Listed in the top 20 of Baton Rouge engineering firms, Forte and Tablada Inc. came in at #18, advancing this year from its previous rank of #19. Firms are ranked by the total number of local, licensed professional engineers. After the growth that Forte and Tablada Inc. experienced in 2010, it stands to reason that next year’s rank will be even higher!
Forte and Tablada was also recognized in the top 25 of the area’s largest woman-owned businesses, ranked by comparing the total number of staff. Formerly ranked #25, Forte and Tablada jumped three spots to the 22nd spot out of the largest female-owned businesses in the Baton Rouge area. Forte and Tablada, owned by CEO Ann Forte Trappey, P.E., is the only woman-owned engineering firm listed.
