The students of Boyet Junior High’s Mathcounts team sent a signed thank you note to CEO Ann Forte Trappey in thanks for Forte and Tablada, Inc.’s continued support of the junior high Mathcounts program through her membership with the Lousiana Society of Engineering. This math program for elementary and middle school students helps to promote and reward excellence in math.
The students of Boyet Junior High have used this support well. Students in the Mathcounts program have excelled in team and individual categories, this year and in past years scoring high enough in preliminary competitions to be invited to the annual state Mathcounts competition.
