Forte and Tablada, Inc., provided civil/site design engineering, including parking, drives, sidewalks, retaining walls, and utilities for the multi-million dollar Sci-Port Discovery Center.
Sci – Port is a 92,000-square foot facility for science and entertainment center located on the downtown Shreveport Riverfront.
It has over 290 science, space science, technology and math exhibits, a gift shop, cafe, and features the world’s first open-access, interactive laser SPACE DOME Planetarium where people use a navigation station to dock a space shuttle at a simulated International Space Station, plus regularly changing IMAX films at the Center’s IMAX Dome Theatre.
