Forte and Tablada, Inc. (formerly PEC) is responsible for providing site investigations, surveying, preliminary and final plans and specifications for the Roadway Improvements for the LSU Innovation Park Project.
The intent of the project is to provide the LSU Innovation Park facility with a connecting road between Innovation Park Drive and Nicholson Drive (LA 30). The future plan for the property adjacent to the roadway is continued development of the Innovation Park facilities. The new roadway will be a Portland cement concrete roadway with mountable curb and gutter, curb inlets, paved gutter drains, additional trees, a boulevard entrance, and new cross drains at a parallel drainage canal crossing.
Completion of the project will provide LSU Innovation Park with the first necessary component in expanding the university’s facilities in the area by providing direct access from a major State Highway.
