Forte and Tablada, Inc.’s Baton Rouge office provided an analysis of an existing timber bridge structure that was closed. Desoto Parish Police Jury wanted to open the bridge for a minimal 3-ton posted load for residents which are stranded due to its closing. The project required laser scanning to determine existing bridge geometry and inspection for critical bridge elements. Repair details were provided to meet the 3-ton requirement.
