Forte and Tablada, Inc. provided electrical and mechanical engineering services as part of a multi-discipline team for the construction of a new hotel. The project is a 300+ key, 11 story, full-service convention hotel attached to the adjacent Shreveport Convention Center.
Forte and Tablada, Inc. was responsible for designing all plumbing, roof and storm drainage, fire protection (including sprinkler system, fire alarm and smoke alarm), HVAC, smoke evacuation, swimming pool and spa piping and equipment, kitchen hood exhaust and extinguishing systems, lightning protection system, electrical and other systems within the boundaries of the mechanical and electrical disciplines. Coordinating with other disciplines was a must in order to provide the power and raceway requirements for the security, electronic hardware, television, video, telephone, data, communications, music, CCTV, and other systems.
